The work behind
the finished room.
A fresh color makes the change visible. Preparation helps the finish come together. This video gives you a behind-the-scenes look at protecting the home, preparing walls and ceilings, applying paint, and completing the details.
Whether you are refreshing one room or planning a larger interior project, we begin with the surfaces you want painted, the condition they are in, and the finish you want to achieve.
A closer look at the work
From preparation to a fresh finish.

Paper and painter’s tape protect the wooden stair edges and nearby surfaces.

A long-handled sander helps prepare the tall stairwell walls for painting.

Careful brushwork along the high ceiling brings the finish together.

A fresh, consistent finish brightens the stairwell around the windows.
From first conversation to final walkthrough
Six steps. One carefully planned project.
Plan the room.
Discuss colors, finishes and the surfaces included in your estimate. We plan access, furniture placement and the schedule around your home.
Protect the space.
Move or cover furniture as agreed, protect floors and fixtures, and mask adjoining surfaces. Careful protection helps keep the work contained.
Repair & prepare.
Address the holes, cracks and drywall imperfections included in the scope. Prepare and sand suitable surfaces so the finish has a sound base.
Prime where needed.
Apply the primer specified for the surface and its condition. Bare repairs, stains, adhesion concerns or color changes may call for different preparation.
Build the finish.
Use brushes, rollers or sprayers as appropriate for the room and surface. Apply the agreed finish coats and allow the required drying time.
Review & clean up.
Inspect the finish, complete touch-ups, remove masking and protective coverings, and clean the work area. Walk through the finished scope together.
The right coating for the surface
Paint choices with a purpose.
Walls, ceilings, trim and doors do different jobs. We choose preparation and coatings to suit the existing finish, the way you use the room and the appearance you want.
Our tools include professional sprayers, rollers, extension poles and dust-controlled sanding equipment. The application method depends on the surface and the protection the room needs.

Before we begin
A few helpful answers.
Does interior painting include ceilings, doors and trim?
Those surfaces can be included, but they should be identified in your estimate. Tell us whether you want walls only or also ceilings, doors, baseboards, crown molding and window trim.
How should I prepare the room?
We will discuss furniture movement and protection before work starts. Set aside valuables and fragile personal items, and let us know about heavy furniture or fixtures that affect access.
Can you start an estimate from photos?
Yes. Send wide views of each room and close views of repairs or trim. Our online calculator can also provide a preliminary estimate. Final pricing and scope are confirmed after reviewing the project.
Can popcorn ceiling removal be part of the project?
Ask us to include it in the assessment. Ceiling removal, surface preparation, skim coating, priming and repainting need their own scope based on the ceiling’s condition. Explore our ceiling services.
