This brand-new Sarasota-area townhouse became a canvas for seven unique accent walls. The palette drew inspiration from traditional Indian colors, combining vibrant greens, warm yellows, rich reds and softer pink tones with the home’s light trim and surrounding surfaces.
We used Sherwin-Williams Duration Interior in a matte sheen. From masking and preparation to brushwork and rolling, the aim was an expressive finish with clean transitions between colors.

Plan & protect.
Confirm each accent wall and color placement. Use drop cloths, masking and edge protection to cover nearby surfaces before painting.
- 02
Cut in & roll.
Use angled brushes around corners and trim, then microfiber rollers across the wall. Work carefully to build consistent coverage with the selected matte paint.
- 03
Reveal & review.
Remove masking carefully, inspect the color transitions and complete touch-ups. Clean up the work area and review the finished walls.
